The Visit Aurora team partnered with Tempest to build a new website that connects its local community and fosters economic impact through tourism.
Aurora, CO - August 30, 2019 - Visit Aurora, Colorado launched a brand new website design to support its mission to showcase Aurora as a premier destination for meetings, business, and leisure travel. Developed in collaboration with the creative team at Tempest, the new website offers the Visit Aurora team a platform to showcase the Aurora community and foster economic impact through tourism.
The website visitor is immediately immersed in the Aurora experience through full-bleed, large format photography. Different audiences can quickly find the most inspiring and helpful content for their travel needs using the completely reimagined information architecture and mobile-first navigation menus. The website is fully integrated with the iDSS Cyclone CRM System, empowering the Visit Aurora team to showcase local businesses and foster connections with travel planners and inspire visitation.
The new website is built on the Craft 3 Content Management System (CMS), and Craft’s intuitive back-end user experience makes it easy for the Visit Aurora team to update the site with fresh content. The Craft CMS allows for dynamic layouts and robust features sitewide, meaning every new piece of content can look and feel as engaging as the homepage.
The Visit Aurora sales team, responsible for connecting meeting planners with area hotels and businesses, now has a sophisticated and flexible platform to help answer the question “Why meet in Aurora?” The new website platform also serves as a hub for locals to discover events, things to do, and new developments happening right in their backyard.
