The Greater Grand Forks Convention & Visitors Bureau partnered with Tempest to elevate its online presence and take its well-established brand to the next level. With excellent assets for attracting business and leisure visitors, including a large convention center and state-of-the-art ice hockey facility, the Greater Grand Forks Convention & Visitors Bureau was in a strong position to move its marketing platform forward. 

During the on-site creative brief, Tempest's creative team found inspiration for an airy new design to reflect the destination’s modern amenities, beautiful open green spaces, and laid-back lifestyle. Working with the organization’s brand stewards, Tempest was able to recommend subtle logo adjustments to modernize the Greater Grand Forks identity to closely align with the look and feel of the new website and future marketing efforts. 

The resulting new website and logo allow the destination’s authentic experiences to lead the conversation and inspire. Large-format photography showcases the destination’s many events and things to do. A playful new twist on the destination's tagline of "Simply Grand" features a customizable fill-in-the-blank format: “Simply Grand, Uniquely _______," to showcase the "Eventful,” “Adventurous,” “Sophisticated,” and other immersive experiences in the destination. Tempest's integrated marketing services team is looking forward to continue working with Greater Grand Forks Convention & Visitors Bureau to help maximize the impact and reach of the new website.
