Who we are looking for

We are looking for a passionate, creative, strategic SEO professional to join our team.  You will be part of our Growth team and work alongside our content team to make a positive impact on our client's website success. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a few years of SEO experience who wants to accelerate their skills and knowledge by working across hundreds of websites in a single vertical (tourism of course) and identify trends, opportunities and then develop strategies, investments, and tactics that are repeatable and sustainable.

 

A day in the life of a SEO Specialist at Tempest may involve 

  • Work with the content team to develop tactical editorial calendars and evergreen content
  • Manage SEO website transition activities for new website launches
  • Perform website Audits and develop tactical plans from findings
  • Analyze monthly analytics data for growth opportunities 

Skills 

  • Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Website Crawlers (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Sitebulb)
  • SEO Platforms (SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc)
  • HTML/Javascript (not a development role, but must understand html/css for audits, working with web team)
  • Website Content Management System (CraftCMS,Wordpress, Drupal)
  • Schema Markup / Structured Data
  • Website Analytics (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Fathom)
  • Positive attitude

Salary Range

$55,000- $65,000
