WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and motivated Ad Operations Analyst to join our Ad Operations team. As Ad Operations Analyst, you will work closely with our Community Engagement and Account Services teams to ensure seamless delivery of native ad campaigns from kick-off to completion. Your strong multitasking and organizational skills will be leveraged to ensure campaigns launch and end as contracted.

The ideal Ad Operations Analyst candidate thrives in a fast-paced, agency environment and collaborates well, across teams, to ensure on-time campaign delivery and a high degree of client satisfaction. Their strong copywriting skills and high attention to detail ensure that ads are not only compelling, but meet the highest standards in digital marketing to deliver maximum impact online.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ADS OPERATION SPECIALS AT TEMPEST MAY INCLUDE

  • Coordinating, monitoring, and managing all online advertisements on client websites. 
  • Creating and maintaining native ad campaigns within Google Ad Manager.
  • Implementing ad placement within the CMS.
  • Ensuring that campaigns are launched and ended on time.
  • Working closely with the Community Engagement and Account Services Teams to ensure smooth and timely campaign delivery, from kick-off to completion.
  • Familiarizing yourself with the clients’ product and target audience and writing copy to specs.
  • Sourcing images from the client to use in the ad creative.
  • Screening any incoming creative to ensure it meets specs.
  • Regular monitoring of campaign performance to identify areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
  • Performing A/B tests on multiple advertising assets and reporting on results with recommendations.
  • Troubleshooting issues with campaign delivery and conducting regular website audits.
  • Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting for all clients and advertisers.

SKILLS

  • Organized, detail-oriented and great at follow through.
  • Effective time-management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to take ownership.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager or other ad serving platforms.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps for business.
  • Understanding of website content management systems (experience in ExpressionEngine or Craft a plus)
  • Some technical website experience is helpful for troubleshooting ads.

Salary Range 

$40,000 - $50,000
