Account Manager

Location: Philadelphia

As an Account Manager, you will manage our clients’ marketing and creative initiatives. You will work closely with our integrated marketing, creative, and web teams to create successful websites and campaigns for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients built on trust by delivering clear, consistent and accurate communication. 
  • Effectively manage multiple accounts and projects at once, keeping them on time, within budget, and ensuring our clients are happy.
  • Position will be strategic and tactical, responsible for campaign strategy and planning as well as jumping in to help with execution and reporting when needed. 
  • Collaborate with creative, performance marketing, SEO, and web teams to create client success.  
  • Travel to client destinations for creative briefs and on-site familiarization missions. 
  • Conduct monthly and weekly status calls with clients, and follow up with detailed notes and tactical action items for the IMS team. 
  • Create monthly reports with clearly articulated analysis of Tempest activities and provide tactical recommendations. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of traveler behavior (both leisure and business) and how programmatic, SEM, and paid social strategies can deliver results for our clients.
  • Travel up to 50%

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 + years experience managing client relationships and accounts.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and great at follow-through, internally with the IMS team and externally with our clients.
  • Critical thinking skills  with creative, detail- and client-oriented approach to proactive identification and resolution of issues.
  • Must have the ability to organize priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic client-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Apps for business.
  • Proficiency in web-based project management tools (Jira, DoneDone, Basecamp, etc).
  • Proficiency in web content management systems (CraftCMS, ExpressionEngine, etc).
  • Proficiency with best practices for search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree.
