It was such a treat to experience the friendly culture, delicious food and craft beer, many historical sites, and beautiful parks and outdoor recreation areas in Roswell, GA. Here are some trip highlights and "if you go" tips for getting a taste of Roswell, GA.

The Vickery Creek waterfall sits on the site of an old textile mill and offers many scenic photo opportunities including a beautiful covered bridge.
Pat Rains welcomed the Tempest crew to Roswell with a tour of his brewery, Gate City.

The Whiskey Project has awesome food and an impressive whiskey selection. Plus, that beautiful open-shelving behind the bar makes for an Instagram-worthy shot, don't you think?

Canton Street offers plenty of walkable dining and shopping options in downtown Roswell, GA.
  • Stop by Table & Main for some Southern cooking. On Monday nights you can enjoy a family-style bucket of fried chicken, sides, cornbread, and dessert. Mike was a good sport and agreed to order beets as our side side dish. Delicious!
  • You can tour one of Roswell's many historic homes including Bulloch Hall, the childhood home of Teddy Roosevelt's mother.
  • Canton Street is a delight to explore. It's also okay to order a beer or drink and then take it with you "to-go" as you enjoy a walk around town.
