Rancho Cordova, CA

Creative Brief

Thank you to Marc Sapoznik, the executive director of Visit Rancho Cordova, and Leena Riggs, the organization’s marketing coordinator for welcoming us to their destination! Visiting Rancho Cordova was a memorable opportunity for us to get a firsthand experience of what the community has to offer.

We shared a fantastic and interactive meal at Red Alcove, a Korean-style barbecue restaurant where the food is cooked right in the middle of the table!
We toured the ground at Soil Born Farms and took in the dedicated youth garden that is built specifically to engage little ones with farming.
Stopped and made some new friends at Soil Born Farms. How cute are these guys?
We took a lovely drive through the rolling hills of nearby Amador County, a hidden gem for any wine lover and got to know local producers at the Scott Harvey tasting room.

If you go...

  • We highly recommend a drive through Amadour wine country. The scenery was incredibly beautiful, the wine was delightful, and the intimate tasting rooms provide the opportunity to really get to know the people who give the community its character.
  • If a day of wine tasting isn’t in the cards, head to Taste for lunch. Located in the heart of the town of Plymouth, it’s a great way to experience some of the best California fare and sample wines from around Amador County.
  • Definitely explore Rancho Cordova's Gold Country. There's so much history here and the weather and scenery are just gorgeous.'
  • Check out Punch Bowl Social in downtown Sacramento. This restaurant features arcade games, bowling, and karaoke! Just a 15-minute light rail ride from Rancho Cordova, Punch Bowl is located right next to the Golden 1 Center, where you can see the Sacramento Kings play or catch concerts throughout the year.
