Creative Brief
Thank you to Doug Evans, Digital Experience Specialist, and Alex Krosney, Senior Digital Marketing Manager, at Travel Manitoba for showing us around their wonderful destination! Our time spent in Winnipeg was invaluable and we left wishing we had more time to experience all of its great offerings.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at Passero in The Forks with Travel Manitoba’s digital team.
At the Assiniboine Park Zoo, we were able to see polar bears and seals. This was all a part of their ‘Journey to Churchill’ Experience within the park. We visited the beautiful Saint Boniface Cathedral, located in the Saint Boniface district of Winnipeg. Our last stop in Winnipeg was at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. There is so much to see! We wish we had more time to spend at this attraction.
If you go...
We recommend checking out The Forks Market which has multiple food vendors, a coffee shop, and a beer garden. This is where we enjoyed our amazing dinner at Passero.
If you are unable to make a trip North to Churchill to view wildlife, the Assiniboine Park Zoo is a great alternative. They have a 'Journey to Churchill' experience that allows you to observe the animals of Churchill (like the polar bears!), and learn more about the area's indigenous heritage.
You should definitely set aside plenty of time to explore the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. There are so many awesome exhibits in this museum, that you could spend an entire day exploring.
