iDSS On-Site Training

On a recent trip to Louisiana, we were able to conduct an on-site training for two organization to help both teams optimize their workflow using iDSS Cyclone. Thank you to Timothy, Melissa, Kellie, and Hope from Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Tourism and to Carrie, Vanessa, Christal, and Regina from Cajun Coast Visitor & Convention Bureau for hosting me and being such a wonderful group to work with.

While in Louisiana, I was able to check out the Visitor's Center, see historic sites, and enjoy some local Cajun cuisine.

Melissa from Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Tourism took me to see the Laurel Valley Village & Sugar Plantation shown above.

This historic site is located in Thibodaux, Louisiana. We drove past the Sugar Cane Fields, the Plantation, and the old Slave Quarters on the grounds. Movies such as 'The Highwaymen' on Netflix as well as 'Interview with the Vampire' were filmed on the grounds of this plantation, and we were able to see those sites as well.

If You Go . . .

  • Try the Cajun food at Spahr's Seafood. Their Gator Bites and Crawfish Pasta were delicious!
