Corpus Christi, TX

iDSS On-Boarding & Training

Thank you to the entire team at Visit Corpus Christi for a fun and interactive iDSS training session. It was great to meet everyone and see your amazing city.We look forward to working with you to support your destination marketing needs via iDSS.

While in town, I found time to walk along the beautiful bayfront and stop by some local favorites and top attractions. Check out some of my photos and travel tips below:

If You Go . . .

  • Stop by Hester’s Cafe. Located inside The Art Museum of South Texas, this is a local favorite for lunch and coffee. Hester's also offers the best views of the Bay in Corpus Christi.
  • For a fun spot in downtown Corpus Christi try The Gold Fish. This locally-owned restaurant and bar featured friendly service and delicious drink selections.
  • Built in 1849-50, the Centennial House is the oldest standing structure in Corpus Christi, Texas in its original place. It is currently preserved by the Corpus Christi Heritage Society with daily tours for visitors to explore.
The views were gorgeous along the bay.
Here's a shot of The USS Lexington - docked in the bay.
More bayfront beauty!
It was cool to see the American Bank Center, one of Corpus Christi’s leading meeting venues.
The Centennial House downtown.
A beautiful memorial to the late singer Selena.
